Elaborasi Lingkungan Sosial Dan Peran Pendidik Dalam Tumbuh Kembang Kreativitas Siswa di MTsN 1 Aceh Barat

Abstrak

Student creativity is one of the essential competencies that should be fostered to support effective learning and address the challenges of 21st-century education. The development of creativity is influenced by various factors, particularly the social environment and the role of educators in creating a conducive learning atmosphere. This study aims to analyze the role of the social environment and educators in fostering students' creativity and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors at MTsN 1 Aceh Barat. This research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive research design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students. The data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that a positive social environment, including family support, healthy peer interactions, and community involvement, contributes significantly to the development of students' creativity. Furthermore, educators play crucial roles as facilitators, motivators, and mentors by implementing active, innovative, and participatory learning strategies. However, several obstacles were identified, including limited learning resources, insufficient parental involvement, and less supportive environmental influences. The study concludes that fostering students' creativity requires strong collaboration among educators, families, schools, and the wider community through innovative learning strategies and sustainable partnerships to create a supportive educational environment.
