Analisis Motivasi Guru dan Siswa dalam Proses Pembelajaran di Madrasah Aliyah Safinatunnaja Kecamatan Kuala Kabupaten Nagan Raya

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the motivation of teachers and students in the learning process at Safinatunnaja Islamic Senior High School, Kuala District, Nagan Raya Regency, and to identify the factors that support and hinder their motivation. The study was motivated by the importance of motivation as a key determinant of effective learning and educational achievement. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teachers' motivation in conducting learning activities is relatively high, influenced by religious values, professional responsibility, commitment to improving the quality of instruction, and dedication to educating students. Meanwhile, students' learning motivation varies but is generally categorized as good due to strong family support, teachers' exemplary behavior, and a conducive madrasah environment. Supporting factors include the religious culture of the madrasah, harmonious interpersonal relationships, supportive school leadership, and diverse learning and extracurricular activities. Conversely, the inhibiting factors consist of limited learning facilities, differences in students' characteristics, and the influence of the social environment outside the school. The study concludes that strengthening teacher and student motivation requires continuous collaboration among the school, families, and the wider community to enhance the quality of the learning process.
