This study aims to describe the management of the Qur'an memorization (tahfidz) program at Madrasah Ulumul Qur’an (MUQ) Islamic Boarding School in Banda Aceh, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze the strategies applied in managing the program. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving school leaders, tahfidz coordinators, teachers, and students. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings show that the management of the tahfidz program consists of four main stages: planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation. Planning includes setting memorization targets, scheduling, teacher assignments, and providing learning facilities. Implementation is carried out through intensive and regular classes. Supervision is conducted by dormitory supervisors who monitor students' memorization activities daily. Evaluation is carried out periodically by assessing both the quantity and quality of students’ memorization. Supporting factors include leadership support, qualified tahfidz teachers, and a conducive Islamic boarding school environment. Inhibiting factors include differences in students' abilities, limited funding, and discipline issues among some students. These obstacles are addressed through strengthening management systems, improving teacher supervision, increasing student monitoring, and enhancing parental involvement.
